Kindermusik nationally is giving 5 $1000 grants to the top 5 voted ideas. You can help our local Kindermusik (Bloomington, IL) win one of those grants.

They have partnered with Western Ave Community Center (Bloomington, IL) through their Hispanic Outreach Coordinator, Socorro, who will recruit up to 12 moms and their young children to come to the Center for Kindermusik weekly for 10-12 weeks. The Community Center will provide transportation. Existing Music Connections (MCF) parents will volunteer to come to class to connect and mentor the Spanish-speaking moms by modeling language and musical play. Each family will receive a complete set of home materials; CD players for those who do not have them will be purchased.
